Grades 6-12 (Fall 2017)
Head Wrestling Coach Nick Jones – email@example.com
Individuals that attend the Ridge View Wrestling Camp will receive 3 days of instruction in all phases of the sport of wrestling in a small group setting. This camp will allow the camper to learn basic to advanced techniques before being put into situations created to allow them to use them in a live setting. This camp will be ideal for those new to the sport, as well as those looking to add new concepts to their arsenal.
June 5th- Primary focus will be on the Neutral (standing) position.
June 6th- Primary focus will be on the Top (advantage) position
June 7th- Primary focus will be on the Bottom position
It is highly likely that more than one phase will be addressed each day. There will be a review of technique at the end of each session, as well as the beginning of subsequent sessions.
It is recommended that those in attendance have their own wrestling shoes, water bottle, and extra shirt for when each day is complete to change into. Please be advised to trim fingernails and observe other hygiene standards.
All SDI State University camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, grade level, and/or gender described.
